We look at your BP, blood glucose, levels as well as factors which increase your risk of these conditions, such as:

Our pharmacist will offer advice to help prevent these conditions developing in the future, and guidance on the small changes you can make to live well.

What happens at a health check appointment?

Your pharmacist will ask you a series of questions about your lifestyle and family history. They’ll measure your height and weight to calculate your BMI. You can also ask them to measure your waist circumference.

They will take a blood pressure reading and do finger prick blood tests to measure:

• Your blood glucose levels

Once your pharmacist has reviewed your results, they’ll discuss your health and risk factors and provide advice on living well.

What are the benefits of the service?

After your health check is complete, your healthcare professional will offer you lifestyle advice tailored to improve your health. If necessary, they may suggest you visit your GP Doctor.
